To all James Bond fans: You can view the amazing James Bond exhibition from September 7, 2024 to January 5, 2025. I personally had the privilege of toasting with the celebrities in gala attire at the VIP opening on September 4, 2024.

Guests of honour at the event included Bond Girl actresses Maryam d'Abo ("The Living Daylights") and Caterina Murino ("Casino Royale"), director Marvin Kren and Oscar winner Chris Corbould OBE, who is responsible for the special effects in fifteen 007 films.

As soon as I entered the event, I felt like I was on the red carpet. The ambience: A hall in the Metastadt Vienna with a beautifully designed entrance, lounge music and lots of photographers. Every VIP guest was photographed and greeted with a fabulous glass of champagne. The atmosphere was spectacular. The evening's moderator wore a skin-tight, beautiful red evening dress and curiously introduced the guests to the evening.

Until January 5, 2025 in Vienna

The exhibition 007 Action Vienna will be on display in the Metastadt Vienna from September 7.9.2024th, 5.1.2025 to January 10th, 00. The opening hours are Tuesday to Friday from 20:00 a.m. to 24,90:XNUMX p.m. The entrance fee is XNUMX euros. There are discounts for seniors, students and families, so get ready, get set, go. This is an unforgettable experience for young and old.

Did you know that Vienna played a central role in several Bond films? I myself always loved watching all the Bond films as a little girl and the whole family was excited to see what would happen. These films were always exciting, played in great settings, had a great cast with talented actors and, above all, the film effects were unforgettable. In the 1987 film “The Living Daylights”, Vienna and the surrounding area were chosen as the setting or location. It is all the more spectacular that this exhibition is taking place in Vienna.

opening with prominent actors

The “Vienna 007 Event” is an exhibition that revolves around the James Bond franchise, specifically the legendary figure of secret agent James Bond and the world-famous films that pretty much everyone knows or has certainly heard of.

Various posters and other merchandise will also be available for purchase on site. At the opening, which took place on September 4, 2024, the organizer also boasted Bond girl actresses Maryam d'Abo ("The Living Daylights") and Caterina Murino ("Casino Royale").

Celebrities chatted about their experiences at the “class reunion”

They gave an insight into their experiences as Bond Girls and how that changed their lives. Anyone who wanted to could take a selfie with them. The director talked about his experiences during filming and the challenges he faced with the special effects. From the very beginning, the producers' instructions were that each new film had to outdo its predecessor.

The opening also attracted many Bond fans, film lovers and professionals from the film industry. The gala atmosphere was accompanied by a live quartet and delicious finger food. Bollinger sparkling wine and, of course, the most famous cocktails from the films were served at the bar. The appetizers were delicious: from sandwiches topped with bacon, egg, tomatoes and eggs to enchanting creations in mini glasses such as chickpeas, falafel, salmon and a delicious burrata, there was pretty much everything. Dark chocolate mousse and various pastries were offered for dessert. Throughout the evening, the former Bond actors, directors, scriptwriters and other contributors to the franchise chatted with each other. An unofficial "class reunion".

original props including Aston Martin DB5

As an invited VIP visitor to 007-Action-Vienna, I was overwhelmed by the exclusive access to the event. From original props, vehicles and costumes to the legendary Aston Martin DB5 and various secret gadgets from the films, every visitor is transported directly into the world of 007. The authenticity of the exhibits made me feel like a participant in a secret mission. The virtual reality experiences allowed me to experience the Bond adventures myself and that is really an experience in itself. Visitors are even able to test Bond's vehicles and gadgets live. Who can say: "I sat in the legendary Aston Martin DB5?" This experience was made all the more authentic by being made possible in a typical 007 setting. For me personally, it was a highlight to have personal conversations with former Bond actors or the filmmakers.

The atmosphere of the event was widely described as electrifying and stylish at the same time. From the decorations to the high-quality service, the event conveyed the charm and flair of the Bond world. Many praised the excellent organisation, which allowed the event to run smoothly without visitors feeling rushed.

Conclusion: A must for Bond fans

If you are a Bond film fan and have always wanted to feel like a secret agent, this exhibition is a MUST. You can take many unforgettable photos in the Bond setting and buy exclusive souvenirs. The combination of historical depth, interactive experiences and the Bond film history is very successful.

Even if you only know the Bond films from your parents' stories, it is really worth visiting this exhibition. For those who want to give their sweetheart a great date, this is exactly the right place. A stylish exhibition that leaves a lot of impressions. So, go for it!
