First flight to Vienna from BER

The first flight to Vienna, which took off from the new Berlin-Brandenburg Airport, landed on Sunday evening under flight number EJU 5849. It was operated by the Austrian Easyjet Europe with an Airbus A320neo. Competitor Austrian Airlines will not move from Berlin-Tegel Airport to BER until next week. Easyjet is also the airline that carried out the official first flight from the new airport. It took off at 6:45 a.m. for London-Gatwick. Italian airlines join forces and demand state aid

Ryanair only flies from Dublin

Ireland is tightening its measures. Ryanair is also feeling the effects. The low-cost airline is ceasing operations at four Irish airports for a month - Cork, Kerry, Knock Country and Shannon will no longer be served. This means that Dublin will remain the only airport from which flights are made from Ireland for the time being. DUS: Terminal B must close

Germany is not the only country closing due to Corona: Düsseldorf Airport is closing Terminal B again from November 3rd. All passengers will be processed via piers A and C in the future, the airport announced. Air traffic has fallen drastically, so operating all terminals makes no sense. In the coming weeks, North Rhine-Westphalia's largest airport expects a total of 100 to 150 take-offs and landings per day - on normal days there are around 600 flight movements per day.
