Germany: Entry rules will probably be extended until the end of May
For the time being, CoV rules will continue to apply to holidaymakers returning to Germany. The German Ministry of Health wants to extend the entry regulations that expire this Thursday until the end of May, as the ORF reports. Protection against additional virus entry by people entering the country remains important. In the current CoV situation, it is now necessary to look at what is appropriate for the situation at shorter intervals. For the time being, this means that everyone aged twelve and over must have a 3G certificate of being vaccinated, recovered or tested negative when entering Germany. The regulation also stipulates quarantine obligations for those returning from high-risk or virus variant areas. However, according to the corresponding list of the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), no country is currently classified by the federal government as such an area.
