Italy abolishes entry forms – and extends CoV travel restrictions
As of May 1, Italy abolished the requirement to fill out the digital Passenger Locator Form before entering the country. However, the 3G entry regulations have been extended. The digital entry declaration was previously a requirement for all travelers to Italy for over a year as part of the Corona rules. From now on, the southern European country only requires proof of vaccination, recovery or negative test to cross the border; children under the age of six are exempt from the proof requirement. Anyone who cannot comply with the 3G rule must go into quarantine for five days, inform the health authority of the holiday region and have a Corona test carried out at the end of the isolation. This is reported by Check 24. Austria's southern neighbor has not loosened all the screws, quite the opposite: the current rules for entry have been extended for the time being until May 31, 2022.
