As a thank you for the free donation, they could take home the book "Among Germans" written by Christian Moser. The distribution was straightforward: any amount could be put into a donation box and a copy of the books next to it could be taken away. The donation was completely voluntary, as the book itself was free of charge. Egypt: Start-up Sky Vision Airlines also wants to go long-haul

A new company with big plans is launching in Egypt under the name Sky Vision Airlines. The company wants to become a scheduled airline with a cargo division. Initially, however, it wants to operate charter flights with two Airbus A320s. It is currently in the approval phase and hopes that it will be able to carry out the first flight later this year. According to CH-Aviation.com, the first two aircraft will be Airbus A320s and will have the serial numbers 2204 and 2589. Due to a lack of AOC and operating license, these are not yet registered in Egypt's aviation register. In the first step, one aircraft will be stationed in Hurghada and Sharm el Sheikh. From there, it will offer charter flights to Africa, the Gulf region and the Middle East. After receiving the TCO approval required for Europe, the company also wants to fly to airports in the European Union. This will also be done on its own account as part of regular scheduled flights. But it will not stop at the classic holiday business, as Sky Vision also wants to go into long-haul routes. It is currently being evaluated whether this will be implemented with the Airbus A330-200 or Boeing 777-200ER aircraft. The company plans to fly from Egypt to destinations in China, Japan, Hong Kong and possibly India. While the first two Airbus A320s will be leased, according to CH-Aviation.com, the company plans to buy the long-haul aircraft. It is currently unclear how many aircraft will be purchased for this segment. Sky Vision also wants to enter the cargo business at the end of 2023, but no later than the beginning of 2024. The company has already decided on two Airbus A321P2Fs. The converted freighters are expected to be added to the fleet at the end of next year.
