SAS extends losses
The Scandinavian airline SAS is not only deep in the red, but also continued to increase its losses between August and October 2022. The deficit during this period was the equivalent of around 113 million euros. The company announced that although it was able to achieve the highest transport performance since the beginning of the Corona crisis, higher fuel prices and currency effects had a negative impact. The parent company SAS Group has been in creditor protection proceedings in the USA since July 2022.
