El Al has to stop over in Larnaka because of a smoke report

An emergency occurred on flight LY-383 of the Israeli airline El Al from Tel Aviv to Rome. Guna Airlines: The airline is not allowed to take off

Bulgaria Air relies on Airbus A220

The national airline Bulgaria Air is planning to expand its fleet. According to the head of Bulgaria Air, the Airbus A220 will be standardized within the fleet. The Airbus will therefore become the airline's standard aircraft, but this does not exclude other aircraft from the fleet. In the near future, three leased A220-300s will be announced as members of the fleet, with deliveries scheduled to take place in June, August and September. Two A319s and one ERJ190 are expected to be eliminated before the end of 2025, as the term of the leasing contracts expires. The fleet consists of the following aircraft: two Airbus A319s, five Airbus A320s and four Embraer E190s. However, the Airbus A220 will become the standard in the future.

Rostec wants to produce significantly more engines for the SSJ-100

Play resumes Keflavik-Amsterdam

The Icelandic low-cost airline Play is relaunching a nonstop connection between Keflavik and Amsterdam-Schiphol in the 2023 summer flight schedule. This will initially be operated five times a week. Air Astana promotes Kazakhstan in new safety video

Korean Air has flown relief supplies to Turkey

On Monday, March 20, Korean Air transported relief supplies for the earthquake victims to Turkey on a special flight from Seoul/Incheon to Istanbul. The Boeing 777 cargo plane had a total of 45 tons of material on board, including tents, sleeping bags and blankets. These will be distributed to those affected by the earthquake via the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Agency (AFAD). The special flight was organized in cooperation with the Korean Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). In February, Korean Air's holding company, Hanjin KAL, had already donated 500.000 USD for earthquake relief in Turkey, which was intended for local relief measures and damage repair.
