Sichuan Airlines with new Budapest Cargo connection

Since the end of last week, there has been a new cargo connection from Chengdu in Budapest. Sichuan Airlines operates this service three times a week. Airbus A330-300F cargo aircraft are used. Ryanair increases Weeze-Bergamo

Engine “said goodbye”: Viva Aerobus had to make a return landing

The pilots of Viva Aerobus flight VB3235 had to deal with engine problems on April 19, 2023. For safety reasons, a return landing was made in Puerto Vallarta. All passengers and crew members were able to leave the Airbus A320 unharmed. The XA-VAV was en route from Puerto Vallarta to Guadalajara. A few minutes after takeoff, one of the two engines gave up. A passenger happened to capture this with his cell phone camera. The footage shows, among other things, a loud bang and flames. The captain decided that, for safety reasons, a return landing would be made at the airport from which they had taken off just a few minutes earlier. The medium-haul jet was able to land safely in Puerto Vallarta about 20 minutes after takeoff. All passengers and crew members were able to leave the XA-VAV unharmed. Technicians are now taking a closer look at the engine and the aircraft. The Civil Aviation Authority also considers the incident to be worthy of investigation and has initiated appropriate proceedings. "The passengers were disembarked in good time and the aircraft is on the apron for inspection and appropriate maintenance. The aircraft was under control at all times and the well-being of all persons on board was ensured," said Viva Aerobus in a statement.
