Turkish Airlines before major order from Airbus

According to a report by the state news agency Anadolu, Turkish Airlines is about to place a large order with the European manufacturer Airbus. The order is said to include 355 aircraft. In the 90-year history of the Turkish airline, it would be the largest single order to date. According to the report, the order also includes 85 Airbus A350-900s and 15 A350-1000s. It could also include five A350F freighters. There is also talk that around 25 A321neos could be purchased. People familiar with the matter have confirmed to Turkish state media that the airline has already held talks with Rolls-Royce about the terms for the delivery of A350 replacement engines and engine maintenance. If an agreement is reached with Airbus, an announcement could be made as early as the Dubai Air Show.
