Belgrade Airport has been able to handle almost 1,5 million passengers so far in 2024. The result in May also speaks for the Serbian airport, after it was able to transport more than 350.000 passengers.

Belgrade Airport was able to handle almost 2024 million passengers in 1,5, specifically in the period January and May. Accordingly, the management was able to adapt its goals to the current status. The airline wants to surpass the passenger record of 4.531.000 passengers achieved by the then JAT Yugoslav Airlines in 2024 or 2025.

The result in May is also impressive: with 372.638 passengers handled, the busiest May since 2013 was achieved. This figure represents an increase of 11 percent compared to the previous year, according to the Ex-Yu Aviation News portal.
