The airport operator Fraport was able to achieve a very positive result despite the strikes. This can be seen specifically in the profit generation in the first quarter of 2024.

In the first quarter of 2024, the airport operator Fraport was able to generate a profit of 16 million euros. Compared to the previous year, in which a loss had to be recorded, Fraport was able to improve significantly. The goals and forecasts for 2024 are correspondingly high. According to the Aero.de portal, 2024 to 61 million passengers are expected to be processed at Germany's largest airport in 65. The expected operating earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) should also be between 1,26 and 1,36 billion euros.
