Blue Islands tests Jersey-Luxembourg

The regional airline Blue Islands, based on the Channel Islands, has announced the start of non-stop flights between Jersey and Luxembourg. For the time being, however, this is only a trial run. Jetsmart has launched a Colombia branch

A new low-cost airline was launched in Colombia last week under the name Jetsmart Colombia. Higher wages: Verdi and MDF-AG reach an agreement

At Dresden and Leipzig/Halle airports, Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG and the Verdi union have reached a collective agreement. Above-average pay increases were agreed especially for employees in the lower pay groups," emphasises MFAG CFO Ingo Ludwig, adding: "Despite the major economic challenges and the structural peculiarities that we are confronted with as a company, today's agreement has succeeded in substantially addressing the needs of employees. The collective agreement thus contributes to the economic stability of MFAG and secures employment in the long term."

Winter 2024/2025: Finnair is increasing Helsinki-Munich

Oneworld member Finnair intends to fly to Munich Airport more frequently in the 2024/2025 winter flight schedule. Effective October 27, 2024, Finnair plans to offer up to 16 rotations from Helsinki to Germany's second-largest airport. There will be two flights a day on Monday to Friday. On Saturdays and Sundays, the Oneworld member plans to commute between the two cities three times a day.
