The tour operator Bentour will be offering modular tours from February 2025. This was announced by CEO Deniz Ugur during the Best Travel annual conference in Kyllini, Greece. To implement the new offers, the Nezasa technology, which is also used by other modular tour providers, will be used. The aim of this initiative is to strengthen package tours while offering more individual design options. Stress factors when flying: Survey shows burdens for travelers

A recent survey by T-Online shows that the stress level during air travel increases significantly due to various factors. Travelers waiting in line find the crowds at check-in to be the biggest stress factor. Of the 2.255 respondents, 32,4 percent said that the hectic pace at the counters was the biggest stress factor for them. Flight delays are also a significant problem, with 21,3 percent of participants saying this was a major stress factor. Long queues at baggage check-in, at security checks and during boarding are an additional stress factor for 21 percent of respondents. 10,7 percent find overcrowding at airports stressful, while only 10,8 percent of travelers find waiting for the train to the airport annoying. The survey shows that organizational hurdles such as crowds and long waiting times contribute significantly to stress. In order to minimize this, good travel preparation is recommended. Fuel prices in Austria rise in autumn despite current low prices

In Austria, fuel prices for diesel and petrol are currently relatively low at an average of 1,527 euros and 1,514 euros per litre respectively. However, experts predict that these prices will rise in October. ARBÖ President Peter Rezar points out that although current prices are cheaper than at the start of the Ukraine war, they could be more expensive due to the CO2022 tax introduced in October 2. The CO2 tax is currently 12,3 cents per litre of petrol and 13,5 cents per litre of diesel. An increase in the CO2 tax is planned for 2025, which will lead to further price increases. From January 1, 2025, diesel will be 16,5 cents more expensive and Eurosuper 15 cents more expensive. These developments could be influenced by political decisions to form a new federal government. Discussions about possible tax increases and the abolition of compensation such as the climate bonus are already underway. Rezar criticises the fact that motorists are repeatedly used to finance budget holes.

Ryanair criticizes German aviation policy and cuts offer for 2025

Ryanair has announced that it will reduce its offer in Germany by 2025% for the summer of 12. The reason for this is high taxes and airport fees, which are causing German air traffic to stagnate compared to other EU countries. Ryanair will completely close its locations in Dortmund, Dresden and Leipzig and reduce traffic in Hamburg by 60%. According to Ryanair, German air traffic in September is still only 86% of pre-Covid levels, while countries such as Italy, Ireland and Poland have been able to significantly increase traffic volumes.
