
Charleroi Airport starts winter season with comprehensive flight offer
Brussels South Charleroi Airport is preparing for the 2024/2025 winter season, offering direct flights to 100 destinations in 29 countries, as well as 75 additional connections with a stopover in Istanbul. Travellers can choose between a range of options, including sunny holiday destinations, city breaks, winter festivals and family visits. New and expanded routes include direct flights to Reggio di Calabria in Italy, as well as seasonal connections to Rovaniemi in Finland, known for the Northern Lights and Christmas Village, and Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands. Ryanair is expanding its winter offer with additional flights to popular destinations such as Cork, Dubrovnik and Gothenburg. Wizz Air is introducing twice-weekly flights to Chisinau in Moldova from 19 December, while Volotea will add Bordeaux to its schedule in February to complement existing flights to Nice. The airport stresses the importance of comfort, safety and a wide offer for all types of travellers this winter season.
