The airlines operating from Frankfurt am Main Airport will fly to a total of 2022 destinations in 23 countries in the 256/96 winter timetable, which will start in a few days. 82 carriers have registered.

The airport operated by Fraport is currently assuming that there will be around 2022 departures per week during the 23/3.530 winter period. This means that 32 percent more flights have been registered than in the same period last year, but the offer is still around six percent below the level that was in the 2019/20 winter flight schedule.

About half of the flight offer in Frankfurt am Main goes to destinations within Europe and half to destinations outside of the continent. Fraport AG emphasizes that the high proportion of long-haul flights would underpin the hub function of Germany's largest airport.
