Condor's A330neo fleet has grown to three aircraft

The holiday airline Condor took delivery of the third Airbus A330neo on Friday evening. This bears the registration D-ANRI and is painted in a striped look in the color "Island". The newcomer is expected to go into scheduled service in mid-February 2023.

It took a long time for Condor to take delivery of the first Airbus A330neo and the machine was handed over a few days before handover even damaged by the manufacturer. In the meantime, the sub-fleet has grown to three copies. It won't stay that way, because the carrier will take delivery of another long-haul aircraft of this type almost every month until 2024.

The existing Boeing 767 fleet is showing its age. Therefore, Condor decided some time ago that Airbus A330neo will be launched as the successor. In order to be able to optimally prepare the crews, one has to used Airbus A330-200 added to the fleet. These machines will remain for some time.

According to Condor, the latest addition, the D-ANRI, is expected to enter commercial scheduled service in mid-February 2023. The first flight will be to Punta Cana. So far, two aircraft of this type are already on the road for the German holiday airline, heading to holiday destinations in the Indian Ocean and the Caribbean.
