Air France will add a third daily connection from Nuremberg to Paris-Charles de Gaulle to its flight schedule starting October 26, 2025. With this expansion, the airline is strengthening its connection to the international hub in Paris in the upcoming 2025/26 winter flight schedule. This measure aims to significantly improve flexibility for travelers who either want to fly directly to Paris or use Air France's global route network.
Dr. Michael Hupe, Managing Director of Nuremberg Airport, emphasized that this is not only good news for travelers to Paris, but especially for transfer passengers, who will benefit from the increased flexibility of connecting flights. The Nuremberg-Paris route is one of the most traditional connections at Nuremberg Airport, having existed for over 70 years. It has established itself as a permanent fixture in the flight offering and is considered a symbol of the German-French partnership. The connection enables people to travel efficiently while offering Air France's renowned in-flight service.
With the third daily connection, Air France is further expanding its service from Nuremberg. Together with KLM's service, residents of the Nuremberg metropolitan region will have access to up to 48 weekly flights to the two SkyTeam hubs, Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam-Schiphol, in the winter flight schedule. This increased frequency of flights is also important for travelers heading to Nuremberg. This will significantly improve arrival and departure options, especially for visitors to the many international trade fairs in the 2025/2026 winter season.
Peter Ottmann, CEO of the NürnbergMesse Group, emphasized the importance of this development for Nuremberg as a business and trade fair location. He emphasized that good connections to international hubs are a key factor in its attractiveness. For the approximately 255.000 international trade fair visitors annually, a third daily flight to Europe's second-largest hub means "noticeably more flexibility and convenience." Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport was recently named "Europe's Best Airport" by Skytrax for the third time in a row, further underscoring the high quality of Air France's hub.
