Air Montenegro struggles with operational disruptions after a leased jet breaks down

Air Montenegro has been facing significant operational challenges since August 23, 2024, after a leased Trade Air Airbus A320 was grounded in Istanbul due to a bird strike.

The incident led to significant delays and flight cancellations on the airline's route network. Air Montenegro stressed that such disruptions are not unusual in the aviation industry and that it is working in accordance with regulatory requirements. A date for the resumption of flight operations of the affected jet was not given.
