Serbian airline Air Serbia is expanding its summer flight schedule and launching a new direct service from its base in Belgrade to Geneva, Switzerland, starting June 23. According to the aviation portal "ExYuAviation," Serbia's national airline will operate the route three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Embraer E195 aircraft will be used.
The new flight connection is intended to further improve Serbia's connection to Switzerland and offer an additional travel option for both business and leisure travelers. Geneva is an important international center known for its diplomatic importance, financial institutions, and proximity to the Alps. With this route expansion, Air Serbia is responding to existing demand between the two cities.
According to initial information, the flight times are designed to allow travelers from both destinations to take advantage of attractive connections. The Embraer E195 typically seats over XNUMX passengers and is expected to ensure comfortable travel on this route. With this new route, Air Serbia is further expanding its route network in Europe.
The launch of the Geneva service complements Air Serbia's existing offering, which already includes other major European cities. The Serbian airline appears to continue its focus on strengthening its presence in Western and Central Europe. The choice of the Embraer E195 aircraft type indicates efficient capacity adjustment to the expected demand on this route.
