The Serbian airline Air Serbia has stopped ticket sales for its route between Belgrade and the Chinese city of Tianjin as of November 5, the portal Ex-Yu Aviation reports.

The airline is said to have already informed the affected passengers. According to information from internal sources, personnel problems are the reason for the temporary suspension of ticket sales. It is currently uncertain whether and when flights to Tianjin will be available again.

At the same time, Air Serbia continues to expand into China: the airline has recently started offering two weekly flights to Guangzhou and is planning two more weekly flights to Shanghai from January 11, which underlines the strategic importance of the Chinese market for Air Serbia.
