According to the Slovenian Ministry of Transport, there have been three meetings between the government and representatives of Dragon Fly and Anisos Holding. The initiators plan to establish a long-haul carrier with three Airbus A330s in Slovenia.
The aim is for the new company to launch with Slovenian AOC towards the end of 2024. The plan is to start non-stop flights from Ljubljana to Asian destinations such as Tokyo, Shanghai or Hong Kong. Dragon Fly is a UK-based business jet operator. Anisos Holding is a company based in the British Virgin Islands that claims to make investments in the aviation sector.
