Airbus received 2024 new aircraft orders in September 235, including 190 A321neo and 35 A320neo family aircraft.

Despite this strong demand, the European aircraft manufacturer continues to struggle with production problems due to supply shortages of engines and other components. The company delivered 50 aircraft to 29 customers during the same period, a decrease of 9% compared to the previous year.

So far this year, Airbus has delivered 497 aircraft and aims to deliver a total of 2024 by the end of 770. To achieve this goal, 273 aircraft would have to be delivered in the remaining months, which analysts consider ambitious. The plan to increase production of the A320neo family to 75 aircraft per month has been postponed until 2027.
