Effective June 1, 2024, Pieter van Oord will take over management of the Royal Schiphol Group, which operates Amsterdam Airport, among other things.

He succeeds Ruud Sondag, who has been at the head of the group on an ad-interim basis since November 2022. However, he did not apply for the position and will leave the company on March 1, 2024. In the meantime, Robert Carsouw will temporarily take over the CEO duties.
