An Austrian Airlines Airbus A320 is now flying on a special mission: The aircraft bears the official logo of Austria's participation in Expo 2025 in Osaka, which takes place from April 13 to October 13. Under the motto "Designing Future Society For Our Lives," around 160 countries and nine international organizations will present their latest innovations. Austria will be represented at the World Expo with its own pavilion to showcase its innovative strength and creativity to an audience of millions.

The Airbus A320, registration OE-LBN, was specifically selected for this purpose. The aircraft's livery is intended to serve as a flying ambassador symbol for Austria at Expo XNUMX and to raise international awareness of the country's participation. Austrian Airlines sees itself as a partner that contributes to global networking and stimulates passenger interest in the World Expo. The aircraft will be in flight with this special livery for the entire duration of Expo XNUMX.

In addition to the airline, representatives from Austrian politics and business also commented on this initiative. Federal Minister Wolfgang Hattmannsdorfer emphasized that participation in the Expo was a strong signal of Austria's economic strength. Johanna Mikl-Leitner, Governor of Lower Austria, emphasized that increased networking through events like the Expo is particularly important in times of international trade. Philipp Gady of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber also stated that the cooperation with Austrian Airlines contributes to the global visibility of Austria as a business location.
