The airline Austrian Airlines will offer four weekly connections between Vienna and Bremen from May 6, 2024. The new addition will be served by Embraer 195 regional jets.

Various carriers have tried this route in the past. The failed aviation companies include Ryanair, Germania, Tyrolean Airways and AUA. “We are pleased that we will soon be offering the route from Bremen to Vienna again for travelers in the northwest and that the route will be continued next winter – and with Austrian Airlines. This route fits perfectly into our range of destinations and is equally interesting for holidaymakers and business travelers. “In addition, the entire Austrian Airlines route network can be used for onward flights from Vienna,” says Marc Cezanne, Managing Director of Bremen Airport.

It starts with four weekly flights until June 30th, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. In the period up to August 31st, flights are available on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and from September 1st the frequency will increase again to four flights per week.
