Despite opening on February 4th, the Indonesian holiday island of Bali is subject to a quarantine obligation of at least three days after entry. But this is now a thing of the past for travelers who have been vaccinated twice.
A few weeks ago, the first voices were raised that expected the quarantine obligation to be suspended in the near future. The Indonesian pandemic officer Luhut Pandjaitan has now announced that the quarantine requirement for twice-vaccinated travelers will be lifted from March 14th. This is reported by the Swiss travel portal About Travel. From that day onwards, vaccinated visitors only have to take a PCR test upon arrival and are free to move around the island if the result is negative. Another PCR test is due on the third day. A booster vaccination is no longer necessary.
