Eurowings has expanded its flight offering from Berlin Airport and now flies to two new destinations. The airline is now offering a weekly connection from Berlin to Yerevan, the Armenian capital.
The flights take place every Friday. From July 13, 2024, this route will even be served twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. In addition, Tivat in Montenegro will now be served once a week, on Saturday.
Yerevan, one of the oldest cities in the world, is located at an altitude of about 1.000 meters in the Lesser Caucasus. The metropolis, also known as the "Pink City" because of the color of its houses, offers a rich history and a diverse culture. Armenia itself can look back on a 3.000-year cultural history between Europe and Asia, characterized by old monasteries, historical sites and breathtaking landscapes.
The expansion of the flight offering by Eurowings includes a total of 40 destinations from BER, including destinations in the Nordic countries such as Helsinki, Gothenburg, Copenhagen and Stockholm as well as on the Mediterranean such as Palma de Mallorca, Dubrovnik, Bastia and Beirut. Additionally, the airline also flies to North Africa and Turkey in July and August, with services to Tunis in Tunisia from July 15 (Mondays), Adana in Turkey from July 16 (Tuesdays) and Casablanca in Morocco from July 21 . July (Sundays).
