Brussels Airlines has extended Tilman Reinshagen’s mandate as Chief Operating Officer (COO) by five years until 2030.

Reinshagen, who has served as COO on the airline's board since July 2022, has been praised for his role in stabilizing and expanding the Brussels hub post-pandemic. Under his leadership, the airline's traffic volume, fleet and operational team grew. Reinshagen will continue to work closely with Managing Director Dorothea von Boxberg and Chief Financial Officer Nina Öwerdieck to strengthen Brussels Airlines' position as a reliable European aviation hub.

The decision was made by the SN Airholding Board, the governing body of Brussels Airlines. Reinshagen stressed the importance of teamwork and promised to further improve the airline's reliability and punctuality. Brussels Airlines is part of the Lufthansa Group and is one of the group's four network carriers.
