Brussels Airlines, part of the Lufthansa Group, has suspended all flights to and from Tel Aviv (Israel) until September 19, 2024 due to the tense security situation in the Middle East.

This decision follows a deadly attack in Lebanon in which several people died and thousands were injured. Other airlines, including Air France and British Airways, have also temporarily suspended their flights to Israel. The airlines of the Lufthansa Group, which includes Brussels Airlines, are avoiding Israeli and Iranian airspace during this time and are continuously monitoring the situation in order to make further decisions. At Brussels Airlines, five weekly flights are affected by the suspension.
