The Zeitfracht Group, which also owns the airline German Airways and Rostock-Laage Airport, was able to increase sales from EUR 556,5 million to EUR 817,8 million in the previous year.

The operating result (EBITDA) rose from EUR 23,3 million to EUR 62,1 million. The EBITDA margin increased from 4,2 percent to 7,6 percent. The group of companies managed by Wolfram Simon-Schröter justifies the improvement in figures with organic growth, but also with the acquisition of Adler Modemärkte AG.

"2021 was a satisfactory financial year for us, in which we were able to benefit from our solid and broadly diversified market positioning in all business areas. Our good result is particularly due to the great commitment of our employees, who have continued to optimize our internal procedures and processes," says Wolfram Simon-Schröter, Managing Director of Zeitfracht Logistik Holding. "For the current financial year and beyond, we will continue to work on the consistent implementation of our strategic goals, in particular the digitization of loading and route planning as well as the constant horizontal and vertical integration of all business areas. Both require investments with which we can further develop our grown company in its structures, it is important for us to involve our employees”.

In order to implement the strategic growth plans, the management of Zeitfracht Logistik continuously examines financing options, which also include raising outside capital such as issuing another bond.
