China Eastern does not fly to Vienna after all

The airline China Eastern has rejected the planned inclusion of the Shanghai Pu Dong-Vienna route in its flight schedule. This route was supposed to start on June 22, 2024.

The airline China Eastern has temporarily removed the Shanghai Pu Dong-Vienna route from its flight schedule. The start of flight operations, originally planned for July 22, 2024, was recently postponed to June 29 and finally removed from the flight schedule. According to the Aero Routes portal, China Eastern had planned three weekly flights with an A330-200. It is still unclear whether the route will be resumed.
