China allows Germans to enter Hainan without a visa

If the regulations are strictly adhered to, German citizens are now able to travel to the island of Hainan, which is part of the People's Republic of China, without a visa.

When booking a flight, please note that you will have to change planes in a third country or in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Furthermore, the trip must be registered online through a Chinese travel agency. If all requirements are met, you can stay on Hainan Island for up to 30 days without a visa.
