Christmas holidays 2023: Nuremberg expects 126.600 passengers

Nuremberg Airport is expecting around 2023 passengers during the 126.600 Christmas holidays. In direct comparison to the same period last year, this would be around 12 percent more travelers.

The most popular holiday destinations are Mallorca, Hurghada in Egypt and Antalya in Turkey. City destinations all over Europe are also in high demand to visit relatives and friends over the holidays or to bring loved ones to Franconia. There is also a concentration on hub connections, first to Istanbul, followed by Frankfurt and Amsterdam. The busiest travel day is expected to be January 7, 2024 with around 8.600 passengers.
