City Airlines will take off for the first time on April 26, 2024

Lufthansa City Airlines will begin flight operations on June 26, 2024. The first flight will be from Munich to Birmingham. Sales of tickets began on April 24, 2024.

The routes offered can then also be booked via the well-known Lufthansa Group sales channels using flight numbers with the new airline code “VL”. City Airlines routes will also act as feeders. The airline is initially starting its flight program from Munich to European and domestic German destinations such as Birmingham, Hanover and Düsseldorf.
