The Verdi union and the Lufthansa Group have appointed the arbitrators for the arbitration of the collective bargaining dispute that is simmering in the area of ground staff. These should provide a solution between March 25th and 28th, 2024.

The Kranich Group named Frank-Jürgen Weise, who was formerly head of the Federal Employment Agency. The Thuringian Prime Minister Bodo Ramelow was nominated by Verdi. A peace obligation has been agreed until the mediation is completed. In the event that no solution can be found, the union has already called on its members to vote on indefinite strikes. These could not take place until March 29, 2024 at the earliest.
