Condor presents new short and medium-haul cabins

The holiday airline Condor will begin modernizing its short- and medium-haul fleet in spring 2024. The first A320neo will carry the “Passion” color and is scheduled to take delivery in April 2024. Now introduce the cabin.

“After replacing the entire long-haul fleet, Condor will continue its modernization course and will renew its entire short- and medium-haul fleet from spring,” says Christian Schmitt, COO and Accountable Manager Condor. “Within the next four years, not only will a significantly younger and more efficient fleet with attractive innovations be created, but also a standardization of the design and on-board product. In the future, guests will also enjoy connectivity on board on short-haul routes, significantly more storage space in the luggage compartments and, with selected features, more comfort in their seats.”  

Stay connected even above the clouds: In the future, the Internet and entertainment portal “FlyConnect” will be available to guests of all travel classes on all flights of the new aircraft. In the FlyConnect portal, passengers can purchase various data packages and stream the latest entertainment program with blockbusters, classics, children's films and documentaries or an extensive range of music and magazines on their personal device. In order to be able to enjoy the entertainment comfortably, there will be a holder for the mobile device on every seat.

The cabin is equipped with comfortable seats from Recaro, which offer more amenities and comfort than before on short and medium-haul routes. In business class, guests can expect the Recaro BL3710 with more seat spacing, a longer armrest and a generously tiltable backrest. Economy Class is equipped with the Recaro SL3710 seat. In addition to the holder for the mobile device, the seats in all classes have separate cup holders and more storage space in the practical seat pockets.

The luggage compartments above the seats make storing your personal travel items even easier. In addition, the moodlight tailored to Condor ensures optimal lighting conditions and a distinctive feel-good atmosphere. The elegant design and stylish color concept with the subtle stripes in the Condor look also contribute to this.
