The Czech Republic is relaxing – but entry restrictions remain

The neighboring Austrian country is lifting some Covid-related restrictions. The 2G regulation, which only grants vaccinated and recovered people access to certain areas, should soon be a thing of the past. But while the cases are falling inside the country, the government is still sticking to the entry rules.

Foreign tourists are still required to present a negative PCR test result upon entry. Although the corona rules are being relaxed in the country, no changes are currently planned to the strict entry requirements, as abouttravel.ch reports. The health authorities are currently not deviating from the applicable regulations because the incidence of infection is massive in almost every European country. Not only people without any proof of vaccination have to show a negative test result. Even people who have already been vaccinated who have not received a booster vaccination. A second test at intervals of five to seven days after arrival is also mandatory for those who have not been vaccinated.
