De-icing system defective: Delta long-haul flight makes safety landing in Goose Bay

Delta Airlines flight DL135 had technical problems on December 10, 2024 on the way from Amsterdam-Schiphol to Detroit. The Airbus A330-300 made a safety landing in Goose Bay. 

The long-haul aircraft, registration N811NW, had to report a de-icing system failure while in Newfoundland airspace. For safety reasons, the captain has decided to land in Goose Bay. All passengers and crew members were able to leave the Airbus A330-300 without damage.
