Deutsche Bahn has reorganized its partner sales in long-distance transport, which has also led to personnel changes.

Veronika Görtz took over responsibility for the division, which comprises four departments including partner services, international cooperation and group travel, on September 1. Görtz has been with Deutsche Bahn for 14 years and previously worked in business development.

The restructuring also saw the division of responsibility for Karina Kaestner, who previously headed partner and business customer sales. Kaestner is taking on a new strategic role within the group. Jan-Wolf Baake will remain head of business customer sales. The restructuring is intended to make Deutsche Bahn's sales more efficient and to further expand cooperation with external partners.
