Dortmund Airport is expecting a passenger volume of 2,6 million this year. Given developments this year, this forecast could be exceeded.

This year, Dortmund Airport is aiming to achieve passenger numbers of 2,6 million passengers. After nine months of air traffic, the airport will be able to handle 2,3 million passengers in the new year, meaning the target set for the current year could even be exceeded. The development can also be easily seen in a direct comparison with previous years: in relation to the pre-Corona year 2019, an improvement of 13,6 percent was achieved. Dortmund Airport was also able to increase compared to 2022, with an increase of 22 percent.

"The current traffic volume fills us with optimism," says Ludger van Bebber. "With around 2,3 million air travelers already, we are currently on course to significantly exceed the annual target of 2,6 million passengers."
