Dortmund Airport with second-best summer result

Advertising

Dortmund Airport draws a positive conclusion from the 2024 summer holidays in North Rhine-Westphalia. Despite reduced flight schedules at Wizz Air due to ongoing maintenance, the airport recorded 447.117 passengers, just below the record level of the previous year.

This represents the second strongest result in a summer holiday period for the airport. Connections to Katowice, Palma de Mallorca and Bucharest were particularly popular. In addition, additional flights from Condor to Mallorca and from Trade Air to Pristina contributed significantly to the increase in passenger numbers.
