Around Easter, the Austrian Federal Railways are increasing their offerings on the Southern and Western Railway routes. According to the company's own information, around 22 additional seats will be put on the rails between March 1 and April 2024, 15.000.

The company also stated that it will offer around 34 additional trains during the period mentioned. Furthermore, the latest generation of the Railjet will also be used for the first time. These should actually have been running on the Brenner route since the beginning of last year, but there were delays in registration in Italy. During the Easter period, some Railjet trains will also be found under Intercity train numbers.
