On September 17, 2024, Embraer unveiled its latest model, the E195-E2, at Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade. The presentation was addressed to representatives of Air Serbia, the Serbian government and the media.

The E195-E2 is considered the world's quietest and most efficient single-aisle aircraft and is seen by Air Serbia as a potential solution to expand its short- and medium-haul offering. The Serbian airline, currently one of the fastest growing in Europe, plans to integrate the E195-E2 into its fleet to improve connectivity in the Western Balkans and Europe and to promote economic growth in Serbia, especially in the tourism sector. Fernando Mainardi, Embraer's VP of Sales Europe, highlighted the benefits of the E195-E2, including high operational efficiency, fuel savings and cost-effective crew training.
