Emirates airline and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, a luxury cruise operator, have announced a partnership to offer joint special packages for combined flight and cruise experiences starting in the 2026/2027 season. The collaboration was announced at the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai and aims to expand the offerings for discerning travelers.

The partnership will align Hapag-Lloyd Cruises' worldwide cruise itineraries with Emirates' global route network and flight schedules. This will provide cruise passengers with enhanced travel options to their embarkation and disembarkation ports, particularly in regions such as the Indian Ocean, Africa, the Far East, Australia, and New Zealand. The specially tailored offerings will take seasonal cruise demand into account.

At the operational level, Emirates and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises intend to establish an exchange of information to optimize service quality for their mutual customers. They will also explore opportunities to integrate premium services at the destinations they serve. Both companies emphasize their shared commitment to high-quality travel experiences and excellent customer service.

The cooperation will initially include special offers for the MS EUROPA 2 and the expedition cruise ships HANSEATIC inspiration and HANSEATIC spirit. These ships are known for their high level of comfort, exclusive dining, and the exploration of remote destinations with experienced crews. The partnership promises a seamless combination of luxurious air travel with first-class cruise experiences.
