With the de Havilland Dash 8-400, Ethiopian Airlines has been serving another domestic route since the beginning of this week. The connection between Addis Ababa and Dembi Dollo has been reactivated.

For the time being, three weekly round trips will be offered on this route. “We are pleased to announce the reconnection of Dembi Dolo to Addis Ababa and the rest of our domestic network by air. This air connection is a safe and convenient means of transport for the people of Dembi Dolo and surrounding areas. Furthermore, we believe that this air service will boost socio-economic development in the region by promoting tourism, trade and investment. This initiative demonstrates Ethiopian Airlines’ commitment to the development of air transport services across Ethiopia,” said CEO Mesfin Tasew.
