Etihad Airways will change aircraft on the route between Abu Dhabi and Vienna on certain dates in the coming winter flight schedule.

According to reports from Aeroroutes, the Boeing 787-10 will be replaced by a Boeing 777. This will apply to selected flights between December 25, 2024 and January 31, 2025. The Boeing 777 is expected to be used on days of particularly high demand, as this model offers greater passenger capacity.

The change mainly affects the period around Christmas and New Year, when experience shows that more travellers are travelling. Customers who have booked flights during this period should note possible adjustments to their booking.
