Etihad returns to Düsseldorf with year-round flights

Etihad Airways plans to return to Düsseldorf in the 2024/2025 winter flight schedule, as a spokesperson for Düsseldorf Airport confirmed to airliners.de. The Abu Dhabi-based airline will serve the route three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. A Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner will be used.

The decision to offer the connection all year round marks a return by Etihad after a temporary interruption. In the current 2024 summer flight schedule, the airline had completely stopped its flights to Düsseldorf. The new flight schedules are already loaded up to the 2025/2026 winter flight schedule, which ensures continuity and planning security for travelers and business people on this route.
