The airline Eurowings has significantly expanded its direct flight offering to Dubai for the winter of 2024/25.
From October 27, 2024, the airline will offer daily non-stop connections from Berlin to the Gulf metropolis. Eurowings is thus doubling its capacity and increasing departures from Germany. In addition to Berlin, Stuttgart will also be served four times a week and Cologne/Bonn three times a week. The flights will be operated with Airbus A320neo.
Jens Bischof, CEO of Eurowings, highlights the attractiveness of Dubai as a destination for business and leisure travellers, as the city offers a variety of modern attractions and a pleasant winter climate at competitive prices. Eurowings also announced new onboard services, including device holders for personal entertainment and improved amenities in Biz class. These changes reflect the airline's strategy to focus more on international medium-haul routes, while discontinuing less profitable domestic routes such as Hamburg-Cologne/Bonn.
