On Monday, March 25, 2024, Eurowings started a non-stop connection between Erfurt and Palma de Mallorca.

This route will be operated up to four times a week in the summer flight schedule. Initially, three rounds per week will be carried out in March and April 2024, taking place on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. From May 21, 2024, flights will also be available on Tuesdays.

As a rule, medium-haul Airbus A319 jets are used from Palma de Mallorca. “The acquisition of the renowned German airline Eurowings is a major strategic success with prospects for Erfurt Airport,” said Erfurt Airport Director Gerd Stöwer.
