Eurowings resumes non-stop flights from Hamburg to Marsa Alam

Hamburg Airport is expanding its route network with another destination in Egypt: Starting October 28, 2025, the airline Eurowings will offer twice-weekly non-stop flights from the Hanseatic city to Marsa Alam on the Red Sea. This was announced by Hamburg Airport. After a hiatus of several years, the popular holiday resort is thus returning to the flight schedule from Hamburg.

The flights are scheduled for Tuesdays and Fridays at 10:50 a.m., and the flight time to Marsa Alam is approximately five hours. This will give travelers from Hamburg another option for non-stop flights to the Red Sea, in addition to Hurghada. Marsa Alam is known for its pristine beaches and diverse underwater world, and is considered an ideal destination for divers and snorkelers.

Eurowings' resumption of the route is a response to demand for holiday destinations in Egypt. Marsa Alam has grown in popularity in recent years and offers not only beach holidays but also cultural excursions in the surrounding area. Tickets for the new flights can be booked through Eurowings' usual sales channels.
